About Us

Capitalise Business Support Limited is a not for private profit social enterprise. This means that all funds are reinvested for the benefit of our clients.

We are a subsidiary of Ten Sixty Six Enterprise Limited, the local enterprise agency for Hastings and Rother areas in East Sussex and are ultimately owned by the Hastings Area Chamber of Commerce which serves the Hastings travel to work area. We also partner with the other Enterprise Agencies, Enterprise Gateways and Business Link offices in Sussex, Kent and Surrey plus many other private sector firms.

Our loan scheme is provided as a Community Development Finance Initiative (CDFI). A CDFI is an organisation created to help reduce financial exclusion and encourage entrepreneurship by considering loan applications from people who cannot access loans or credit from banks or building societies.

Our scheme is aimed at working with micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and social enterprises in order to achieve positive social change and to bring increased prosperity to disadvantaged or under-represented groups.

Variable and fixed rate loans may be provided to assist businesses and social enterprises start up and, if established, to grow and prosper. Once the loan has been provided we will provide invaluable mentoring support throughout the term of the loan.
